CEREV is different from other blogs for many different reasons. The biggest one is that we speak what our youthful minds conjure, whether it offends or pleases the masses. Another reason is that we actually aren’t written by one author, but by six. Revolutionary, huh? Well, there’s no point reading the posts if you don’t know the face behind them. Here’s a quick bio of each of our wonderful authors.
Sheel Kumar is the brain child of CEREV. He is knowledgeable in many entertainment fields such as literature, music, movies, and games. His unique style and horrible grammar provide humor and serious thought into one effective blog post. Or not. Maybe he just sucks at life and this whole blog idea is pretty shitty. Sheel currently resides near Washington D.C.
Travis Wood is an avid gamer, enjoying side-scrolling shooters as well as other genres. His experience in old-school and hand-held games, as well his various business adventures in the trading gaming industry, and brief stint as a professional Team Fortress 2 player make his blog posts completely useless. In fact, his resume completely blows. He spends his free time writing, directing, and acting in videos. He currently resides near Columbia, SC.
Marcus Carrillo is an extremely outspoken individual who’s not afraid of speaking his mind. Unfortunately he only excels at terrible games such as Runescape and only likes music that is featured in an iTunes commercial. His erratic writing style and inability to spell makes his posts extremely painful to read. Or maybe it’s just brilliance in disguise. Marcus currently resides near Los Angeles, CA.
Robert Straw is cute, lovable, and extremely strange. An expert at PHP, Java, Linux, and nearly every other computer-related code imaginable, as well as having experience with various music and film talents such as Weird Al, Robbie’s wealth of knowledge is indispensable. Bob’s unique perspective on life, hippie-like hair, and stoner facial expression make his blog posts surprisingly intellectual and horrifyingly stupid at the same time. Robert currently resides near Milwaukee, WI.
Joshua Laing is wonderful critical person, happy to comment on anything offered to him. Perfectionist at heart, his experience in gaming, movies, books, etc etc and hard work ethic make his blog posts all the more interesting to read. Josh is actually quite a nice person and might even give you some candy if you let him give you a ride. Boys and girls allowed. Actually, he doesn’t like children. It’s just the camera angle. Zack Derrick is a man who needs no explanation. His imagination and memorable conversations have created some of the most used phrases on teh internets, such as LaVaLamP and the Microwave Boys. Zack’s creativity and knowledgeable background in various fields, including gaming, make him a prized writer among the CEREV mind. Zack currently lives near Columbia, SC.
